The photo shows a field chapel (from the south-west) built by legionnaires at the rear of the position of the 3rd infantry regiment of the polish legions, between kostiuchnówka and wołczeck, in a place called the polish forest (wołyń). There was a war cemetery of the polish legions there, and the chapel was used for executions and ordinary services. The designer of the chapel was stanisław janowski. Date: kwiecień - czerwiec 1916.
