I waited for the package to arrive and now it arrived yesterday. Thank you so much for that. But mum, what have you sent again? you know i don’t want it! all those stamps and the 10 rm in one letter - you're taking all that away yourself. Now you have to struggle so much. And i don’t look all that slim in the photo - quite the opposite. You can use the meat stamps better than i can. I'll get by. I've been here in braunschweig for a long time now and i know a number of places where i can get something to eat. I also have comrades who are coming back from vacation, so one helps the other out. The pictures were ready quickly, and thank you for that and for poldi's and adi's letter. Poldi's views on the military have [also changed completely. ]. Date: 13 August 1942.
