The fountain has the appearance of an egyptian temple door, the bay of which serves as a niche for a statue holding in each hand an inclined vase, from which the water escapes into a basin leaning against the base of the pedestal. The overflow from this tank flows through a bronze mask with a lion's head. In the background, beyond the wall: two trees and the roof of a building; at the rear of the latter: the roof of a bell tower.
