View from the thurgäuer gate, towards the rosenberg near st. Gallen (original title). On the left is the town gate, which was actually called the platztor. In the background is the rosenberg, which is hardly recognizable anymore, as it was completely built up with villas around a hundred years later, at the time of the embroidery boom. Date: um 1790/1795.
