four men face a lone man; all have animal heads. On the left of the image, a man with the head of a boar has grabbed two chairs to defend himself. He is backed against the wall by the four fellows in front of him, all of whom have dog heads. One of them is a national guard who stands in the background. The three other dogs seem to come to claim their dues from the boar: one of them points at him and holds in his hand a so-called judgment of bodily capture. Extract from métamorphoses du jour (published by gustave havard libraire, paris, 1854): scene iv. At the viscount's, eight days later. (limier enters, followed by doguin and barbet, recors, and molosse, gendarme). Finally, i find you, mr.
