Statue of Joan of Arc, Place des Pyramides, Theodor Josef Hubert Hoffbauer, between 1875 and 1882

Following the architectural destruction of the commune of 1871, many parisian roads were rebuilt in an attempt to improve teh traffic throughout the city. Among these was the rue des pyramides, whose extension also allowed for a better view of the newly erected statue of jeanne d'arc. Date: between 1875 and 1882. Dimensions: 12 x 9.4 cm.
