507. 2563528. Philippe vignon (1638-1701). Follower of. Portraits of a nobleman and a noblewoman, traditionally identified as louis xiv of france and his daughter, mlle de blois. Description two, he quarter length, wearing armour, a lace cravat and a wide noeud papillon, she wearing a blue dress and russet mantle, oil on canvas, oval each 40 x 32cm approx. (2) an association with the followers of pierre gobert (1662-1744) is plausible. Condition each with some retouching and some wear; the latter with notable retouching on shoulder and throat. Date: 17th century. Dimensions: height: 40 cm (15.7 in); width: 32 cm (12.5 in). Medium: oil on canvas. Collection: Unidentified location.
