Description two, he quarter length, wearing armour, a lace cravat and a wide noeud papillon, she wearing a blue dress and russet mantle, oil on canvas, oval each 40 x 32cm approx. (2) an association with the followers of pierre gobert (1662-1744) is plausible. Condition each with some retouching and some wear; the latter with notable retouching on shoulder and throat.
