This map of ost-friesland was created by ubbo emmius (1547-1625) but was originally published in an atlas by willem jansz. Blaeu (1571-1638) in 1630. After some time the
copper plate ended up in the hands of the amsterdam publishers peter schenk (1660-1711) and gerard valck (c. 1650-1726). They published this edition of the map. The
