Gjøngehøvdingen 089, Poul Steffensen

Illustration by poul steffensen from the danish novel gjøngehøvdingen by carit etlar which takes place during the dano-swedish war in 1657-1658. A group of swedish horsemen belonging to colonel sparre and another group lead by kulsoen and captain manheimer hunts a sleigh with tam and another gønge. The horsemen believes that it is svend poulsen, gøngehøvdingen, who previous used the sleigh but he exchanged it with the two gønger who uses it as a diversion.
