The experts at bruun rasmussen labelled the musicians as sicilians, but the uploader tends to disagree. We know that pedersen visited corsica (and italy) in 1887-1888, and as the inscription mentions ajaccio, which is the main town of corsica, that seems to be a more sensitive bid for the location.
