Richard Ellis cabinet for Great Exhibition 1851, before 1900

Mahogany cabinet made for the great exhibition of 1851 in england, by richard ellis (1820–1895). It held samples of harrogate's mineral waters. It was elaborately carved, and at the top was a carving of harrogate's royal pump room. The inside of the case was lined with red velvet, and backed with silvered plate glass. Date: before 1900.
