A side box at the Opera., Albinia Hobart, 1784

Mrs. Hobart sits stiffly in an opera-box in profile to the left. Beside and behind her sits another lady, also in profile. The hair of both is elaborately dressed and surmounted by an erection of feathers, flowers, or ribbons, tilted forward and projecting behind the puffed-out hair. 14 april 1784 as re-issued in 1792 hand-coloured etching with some use of the rocker.
