Portrait of princess luisa carlotta of the two sicilies (1804-1844). Hair and signature 'buonaparte" at the back of the frame, are refereing to the souvenir of caroline murat queen of naples. They have conducted for a longtime to a wrong identification of this portrait, known in the montagu sale as caroline bonaparte, sister of napoléon. Date: circa 1816.
