(p. 150)" the depiction, measuring 22 x 31. 5 cm on a larger sheet, shows a decorated banquet hall that extends deep into the picture, at whose long rows of tables numerous men in tailcoats are dining with their wives. Above this, in the center, with a surrounding decorative frame, is the city coat of arms of hanover. To the left of this is a medallion with the portrait of "dr. Phil. Hl ahrens" and to the right of this "dr. Phil. Cj grotefend". Date: circa 1870.
