Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 832, 8 October 1919

832. Crown with crosses from the fresco image - the portrait of tsar ivan-alexander (1331-1371) in the narthex above the ossuary tomb at the bachkovo monastery "st. Mother of god". Half scratched. Painted with tempera paints on plaster of lime and chaff. The large cross is formed by the transverse borders across the surface of the crown, they are studded with pearls, and between the vertical borders, in addition to pearls, two violet precious stones are drawn. The small crosses are below the horizontal wings of the large cross, they consist of four small covered and one larger quartered gem stone. Dimensions of the crown: width 23 cm and height 14 cm.
