Baron gábor kemény of magyargyerőmonostori (csombord, july 9, 1830 – ajnácskő, october 23, 1888) was an economic politician, publicist, correspondent and then honorary member of the hungarian academy of sciences. From 1866 until his death, he was a member of parliament, in 1878–1882 he was hungary's minister of agriculture, industry and trade, and in 1882–1886 he was minister of public works and transport.
