Portrait of ludovico ariosto, by drawing by joachim von sandrart. At the bottom: f. Titiani, prototypo in aedibus alph: lopez. Discarded the previous identification of the sitter with ariosto, it is currently known as the man with the blue sleeve or, according to the national gallery in london, where it is preserved, as a portrait of gerolamo (?) barbarigo.
