Image divided into three parts; in the top vignette, a smartly dressed young man picks flowers in a garden for a posy; in the main central composition, he offers the posy with one hand, his hat in the other, to his fiancée, a demure young woman in a fine dress, bodice and white cap, in a room with a small crowd of people behind the couple; in the lower vignette, the couple walk in the street in a procession led by musicians, cheered on by a crowd; music cover sheet for a song with lyrics by the comte de lagarde and score by l.
