Farman by the Mughal ruler Jahangir (Asnad.org, 1), 24 October 1609

Six bigahs of land at agra for purposes of a cemetery and a garden are granted to the europeans. They are freed from all taxes. The date given in the farman is: "(written on the 2nd of the month of aban (in the) iv th year (of the emperor's reign)". Date: 24 October 1609.
