The "unveiling of the rosenberg monument by the emperor on april 20th" captured by court photographer wilhelm höffert in 1902 in the welfengarten on the corner of nienburger strasse and parkstrasse, today's wilhelm-busch-strasse. In addition to emperor wilhelm ii and members of the rosenberg family, the numerous officers present include general count alfred von waldersee and general karl von stünzner on the right edge of the picture.
