The tomb of tall christoff in the neustadt cemetery in hanover with three gardeners who want to plant new plants in a hole dug with shovels. The photolithographic print of a photograph taken around 1876 (by an as yet unidentified photographer) with the (page?) number 17 comes from the book from hanover's prehistory. A contribution to german cultural history. With 23 photolithographic illustrations, etc. Published by the historian august jugler (1833-1888) and was originally printed in 1876 by the aubeldruck-anstalt, aubel & kaiser, lindenhöhe [38 b] near cologne. The digital copy shown here was uploaded to the flickr platform as part of a larger campaign by the british library (instead of directly here at commons), downloaded from there in the highest possible size, then darkened with a photo editing program using "auto contrast" and finally uploaded here. The accompanying text from the book is still missing - and may contain a reference to the original author. Date: circa 1876.
