Anne-adrienne lévêque, wife (1800) of louis-antoine lavallée louis-antoine lavallée was secretary general of the central museum of arts and napoleon (1797-1816) and temporarily its director after the resignation of vivant denon, before being forced to leave this position due to the appointment of count louis de forbin in 1816. He was called athanase lavallée after the start of the revolution because his two first names recalled those of the king and queen. Object Type: drawing. Date: early 19th century.
