Photographic postcard of mathilde felixovna kschessinskaya (1872-1971), soloist to his imperial majesty and prima ballerina of the st. Petersburg imperial theatres. She is costumed as princess aspicia in the final scene from the 1862 ballet the pharaoh's daughter, created by the choreographer marius petipa (1811-1910) and the composer cesare pugni (1803-1870).
