One of axel törneman's larger paintings, "man with bull" depicts a young man fighting an enormous animal. The choice of motif probably has connections to ancient mythology (heracles and the bull from crete, as well as theseus). The painting was executed in 1909, and hung until 1980 in villa mullberget.
