Iii. 41. Dear parents, thank you very much for the letter of february 25th. You can't imagine how much i always look forward to a letter from you. One always wants to know what's new at home and in the surrounding area. Yes, on february 20th it will be two years since i have been with the b. V. [???]. Time goes by incredibly quickly. And so my time here will go by too. Fritzl is on vacation again, say hello from me and he should write. Well, that will take some time. The thing about the vocational school is a lot of stuff and i'm sure the business has taken me out of it. That's just the red tape. You're writing about fürst [???]. Now you'll see, he's been at home since last monday. He's been put on leave from military service because of his bad eyesight. He'll probably be back at work soon. I heard the rumor about zara leander [zarah leander] here too, and immediately thought it was a "lavendel" [???]. You're writing about cigarettes, if you could send me a few i'd be very grateful. But not too many. It's hard to get hold of them here. You don't need to send me any magazines. I don't get to read anyway. My teeth are [quite good. ]. Date: 2 March 1941.
