So-called portrait of maurice de saxe (1696-1750), but is probably a depiction of john christian, count palatine of sulzbach (1700-1733) with the bavarian order of saint hubert identification proposed by user ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of john christian of sulzbach (see images below) and the absence of physical resemblance with maurice de saxe.
