The "ground plan of the city of potsdam" includes a plan of the city center and thirteen views of buildings, probably by johann david schleuen the elder (1711-1771), which are arranged in annotated elevations around the city center. Hospital of the 1st battalion of the guard 7. Rifle factory 8. Japanese teahouse 9. City palace (market side) 10. French church 11. Holy spirit church 12. Nicolai church 13. Garrison church; scale: rhine ruthen (3. 6 cm = 100 r. -ruthen). The plan, enriched with vedutas, follows the floor plan of the residential city first presented in 1778 by carl ludwig oesfeld (1741-1804), with the two city extensions carried out under frederick william i and frederick ii (cf.
