Kathrin kirsch (in sandner 2004) has proven on the basis of the watermark (imperial orb with crowned decorative shield) that this, as well as the similar stencil with the bust portrait of katharina von bora and the sheets with the same motif, must have been produced in weimar between 1669 and 1683 or shortly thereafter.
