This painting was painted by qing dynasty painter shi tao when he was returning to yangzhou from hefei and passing by chaohu. Measuring 128 centimeters in length and 6 centimeters in width, it is the earliest surviving calligraphy painting depicting the scenery of chao lake. Date: 1 January 1695.
