Aspertini sketch-book (so-called london i): 30th opening left (1898,1123. 3(29*) verso) and right-hand page (1898,1123. 3(30) recto) with scene from trajan's column: roman scouts leaving an encampment and crossing a bridge c. 1535 pen and brown ink, over black chalk, on vellum (the surface partly rubbed with black chalk).
