letter - on the front, bottom from left to right, printed in black ink: "abosse inuen et fe. "; "the blond excud with privilege". Legend - on the front, at the bottom, printed in ink, verses: "it is with regret that my master / leaves these beautiful clothes, / sow rich pasmens, / which made him appear so well // but on another side i think, / that being as he is, / surely the edict pleases him, / because it regulates the expense. // i will therefore put in the chest / all these superfluous clothes; / and even if he no longer wears them, / i do not fear that he will offer them to me. "
