Copperplate engraving by the engraver christian fritzsch after a painting by the court engraver of the tsar's court godefried boy with a hip portrait of the lutheran theologian and pastor of the market church of hanover gabriel heinrich pollmann (1712-1789), who is standing in front of a curtain and a bookshelf in the background on the left. Below the picture, in a rectangle, are the words "gabr. Heinr. Pollmann. Pastor hanoveranus ad templum primarium sst. Georgii et jacobi vulgo marckt-kirche et societatis teutonicae goettingensis membrum honorarium. Aetat(is) xxxiii" below that is a distich written in latin by the rector of the hanoverian school johann ludolf bünemann with the verses "arguit effigies pollmanni pectus apertum ingenium doctum scripta diserta probant" detail.
