Collision in the thames, off gravesend, between the steam-ship iona and the barque agenoria. Illustration for the illustrated times, 5 february 1870. The steamship iona collided with the barque agenoria in the river thames at gravesend, kent and was severely damaged. A passenger on board iona was killed. She was on a voyage from leith, lothian to london. Agenoria was also severely damaged. She put back to london. Date: 5 February 1870.
