Elector Karl Philipp of the Palatinate, Pierre Goudreaux, between 1694 and 1731

Elector Karl Philipp of the Palatinate, Pierre Goudreaux, between 1694 and 1731

So-called portrait of charles iii philip, elector palatine (1661-1742), but it's probably a depiction of gustav samuel leopold, duke of zweibrücken (1670-1731) identification proposed by user ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of prince gustav (see image below) and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to representations of elector charles. Object Type: painting. Date: between 1694 and 1731. Dimensions: height: 85 cm (33.4 in) ; width: 67 cm (26.3 in). Collection: Bavarian State Painting Collections. Pierre Goudreaux - Kurfürst Karl Philipp von der Pfalz - 4095 - Bavarian State Painting Collections
