In his bedroom in an inn, a military traveller kneels to copulate with the chambermaid who is kneeling and placing a warming pan in his bed; the traveller's clothes on a chair at left and hanging on a hook on the wall at right; a dresser against the wall at right, a candle and bowl with spoon on the floor.
