Draperies in the upper edge of the picture. Christ sits on a stool to the left of the picture wearing a loin cloth while blood flows from wounds in the body. Carrying a broken ear of wheat. Inscription: signature (top signature): dene tavle (have?) i christian lorensen made? - granted and given to the bishop - to my small fortune in 178? to tranebye. Inscription (bottom inscription): "dene gestaldt erre mig king christian den: 4: udi a vision forre comet da ig giorde my bön for den: chrestenkiærke's great concern nød en morgen aarle paa: met slaadt friderichsværen the bloody christus with a pipe. "
