So-called ergastinai (“weavers”) block, from the east frieze of the parthenon in athens. Traces of ancient polychromy, pentelic marble, c. 445–435 b. C. Dimensions: H. 96 cm (37 ¾ in.), W. 2.07 cm (6 ft. 9 ¼ in.), D. 12 cm (4 ½ in.). Collection: Louvre Museum.
