King frederik iii, ib abelsøn, christen skeel, a member of rigsrådet (the council of the state), and svend poulsen, gøngehøvdingen in rosenborg castle in copenhagen. Ib abelsøn fells down on his knee when he face the king. The king in turn ask him to raise and praise him for what he has done. King frederik iii of denmark and norway (1609-1670), christen skeel (1603-1659) and svend poulsen (app. 1610 - app. 1679) were real persons but the story is fiction.
