"the painting was attributed to jacob ferdinand voet and dated to around 1670-1675 by didier bodart in the 1977 catalog on flemish painting. Here the gentlewoman portrayed, coiffed according to the english fashion of the time, is identified with olimpia mancini, wife of eugene of savoy carignano. It is a companion piece to another more well-known portrait of diane de thianges, duchess of mazarin also signed by voet. The attribution was also recently confirmed by francesco petrucci but the scholar does not agree with the identification and defines it as a portrait of an unknown lady". Date: between 1670 and 1675. Dimensions: height: 75 cm (29.5 in); width: 61 cm (24 in). Medium: oil on canvas. Collection: Palazzo Davanzati. Jakob Ferdinand Voet - Ritratto di donna - Museo di Palazzo Davanzati
