Berber bride by josep tapiró (1836-1913), exhibited at the barcelona art museum. This highly meticulous portrait is one of the best known and most characteristic of tapiró’s works from the tangiers period, in morocco. It shows a bride adorned with jewels in the traditional fashion and gives a detailed rendering of her magnificent ceremonial attire.
