Unfortunately, i'm still waiting in vain for mail from you. It's taking longer than usual now; a letter from gretl took over 8 days. You did get my mail, right? or is it the same with my letters? i'm really waiting for a message from you. They were with you again today, i suppose? i heard niederdonau on the radio. I'm sending you the cigarette tin i took with me by mistake and a bit of sweetener, the latter from liesl's pharmacy. Please use it well, maybe you can get something to eat for yourself. I'm in a hurry today, so i'm typing, please forgive me, but whether i write by hand or something, the greetings to you remain the same. Everything else is fine here.
