Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 592, May 1916

592. Triptych crosses - wooden icon from the village of kurilo, sofia, - worked in the 16th century (according to dr. Tsonev — b. A. , i. E. —v. ); they were painted with red oil paint on a plaster-primed board of the altar of st. George; four-winged, in the corners where the wings cross, there is a red dot. Copied (double enlarged from the original) from the collection of iv. Enchev-vidyu in may 1916. (vol. 2, obr. 42. ). Date: May 1916.
