Engraving representing jean-charles van der borcht, advisor and master general of coins, represented at rue de la madeleine, n° 59, in brussels, in his gold and silver thread factory. He was born in brussels on november 22, 1668 and died on may 4, 1735, murdered by a cane given by an unknown person, while he was returning from the salute to the capuchins. He is the brother of the neo-latin poet petrus van der borcht (petrus in castro). Date: 1694.
