A young dandy, his clothes in some disarray and cockaded hat on a slant, standing with one hand on his club, the other in his pocket, smiling tipsily towards the viewer; a table with dirty bowls, teapot, brandy bottle and gloves behind to right; picture of a boxing match on the wall behind, broken glass, dice and advertisement for the royal cock pit on the floor; from a set. Hand-coloured mezzotint with some etching. Date: 1795 (circa?). Dimensions: Height: 166 mm (trimmed); Width: 125 mm. Medium: paper. Collection: British Museum. Twelve at Noon (BM 2010,7081.2162)
