New building of the marien-magdalenen monastery on glockengießerwall in hamburg, built in 1839 by carl ludwig wimmel, with the monument to the monastery founder count adolf iv of schauenburg and holstein (on the right in the picture), on the left in the background the spitalerstraße and the tower of st. Jacobi. Date: circa 1850.
