guanyin seated, the right leg rests on the base, the left leg is folded up; her head, worn in a high bun, is covered with a veil which forms three folds at the forehead; she wears a pectoral and the upper part of her undergarment, visible at the neckline, has the shape of three lotus petals. Around her neck and neckline, a rosary. The entire work is marked with sometimes significant brown stains, undoubtedly traces of an old coating. She is seated on a wooden rock forming a base.
