An interior view of the ruins of tintern abbey, looking toward the south window. Ivy mantles the pillars, a feature admired by many visitors, and fallen masonry is stacked on the ground. The tinted print was engraved after a sketch made by francis calvert, newly arrived from ireland in 1815. It is part of a set of four published that year. Object Type: print. Date: 1815.
