Masted ship with sails furled assisting a small boat alongside during rough weather at sea, one man hoisted aboard the larger vessel, men on both vessels pulling at sails which have blown over, and at the ropes, the waves lashing, the sky full of dark clouds; after isabey lithograph on buff chine collé.
