Tübingen [from the northern österberg] 1828. Gouache 26. 5 x 42 cm, sheet 37. 2 x 53. 5 cm; schefold 9323. On the left the town with hohentübingen castle in the background, on the right the botanical garden with the orangery (on the right edge). Behind the botanical garden lies the cemetery, which was the town cemetery at the time. The left corner of the botanical garden (directly next to the town) is occupied by the museum, which was completed in 1822. On the path in front of the garden (which later became wilhelmsgstrasse) you can see people walking and two riders. Date: circa 1860.
