Alexander hamilton statue by robert ball hughes, installed in the merchant's exchange in new york city in april 1835, but destroyed by fire in december 1835. A second copy of the statue was installed in the albany, ny city hall. That copy was destroyed in a fire in 1880. This image is in the public domain because of its age (created 1835). Date: 1835.
